Urban Outfitters, Inc. Announces Appointment of New CFO
PHILADELPHIA, March 21, 2012 - Urban Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ:URBN), a leading lifestyle specialty retail company operating under the Anthropologie, BHLDN, Free People, Terrain and Urban Outfitters brands, today announced that Eric Artz is stepping down as Chief Financial Officer effective April 3, 2012, and is being replaced by Frank Conforti, the Company's Chief Accounting Officer.

Since he started at URBN five years ago, Frank has been a star and an invaluable partner to the executive leadership team. I have the upmost confidence in him and his abilities," said Richard A. Mr. Conforti joined Urban Outfitters in March 2007 as Director of Finance and SEC Reporting and was subsequently promoted to Controller and then Chief Accounting Officer, his current role. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Conforti worked for AlliedBarton Security Services, LLC as Controller. Mr. Conforti began his career at KPMG in 1998.
