Urban Outfitters Appoints James Bidwell Managing Director of Anthropologie Europe

PHILADELPHIA, Sep 24, 2008 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- In anticipation of Anthropologie's expansion in Europe, Urban Outfitters Inc. (Nasdaq:URBN) today announced the appointment of James Bidwell to the newly created position of Managing Director, Anthropologie Europe.

Mr. Bidwell joins Anthropologie from Visit London, formerly the London Tourist Board, where he has served as Chief Executive since 2005. Prior to Visit London, he held the position of Marketing Director at Selfridges.
